Deleting your TarotHands account

TarotHands uses an Arka Labs account. Deleting your account deletes the whole Arka Labs account, so you are also removed from the other Arka Labs services you used with the same account (Saju Todak, Dosabang).

Delete in the app

Open the TarotHands app and sign in.
Tap Settings › Account › Delete account.
Read the notice and tap the delete button.

Request deletion without the app

If you removed the app or cannot delete your account in it, email arkalab79@gmail.com from the email address you signed up with, using the subject "[TarotHands] Account deletion request".
After confirming it is you, we process the request within 10 days and email you the result.

Delete data but keep your account

Display name: clear it in the app under Settings › Appearance › Display name, and it is also removed from our server.
Your spreads: a spread you delete in the app disappears from all your devices. Our server keeps the deleted spread with a "deleted" mark so that your other devices can learn about it.
To delete data like this while keeping your account (deleted spreads left on the server, spread list settings and so on), email arkalab79@gmail.com from the email address you signed up with, using the subject "[TarotHands] Data deletion request" and listing what to delete. After confirming it is you, we process the request within 10 days and email you the result.
Consent records and sign-in records are kept for the periods set by law and our policy (see below).

Deleted right away

Display name, your spreads and spread list settings
Email sign-in link (your email address is replaced with a value that cannot identify you)
The IP address and device information recorded when you agreed to the terms

Kept for a limited time under law and our policy, then deleted

Consent records (which document and version, and when you agreed): 5 years after deletion
Deletion record (member ID, deletion time): 6 months after deletion
Sign-in records (IP address, device and app information): 3 months
Inquiry records: 3 years after the inquiry is resolved
Database backups (for disaster recovery): within 90 days after deletion at the latest

Data that exists only on your device

Reading history, question notes, card notes and reading notes are never sent to our servers; they are stored only on your device and are removed when you uninstall the app.
